Service Description

When you are coming for Consultation and Treatment your appointment will be longer than usual acupuncture treatment - usually people have additional questions, and we need to know each other more. It will consist from 3 parts: 1. Diagnosis 2. Treatment 3. Recommendations for home prevention and treatment of your condition. First is Consultation when you will be talking about yourself around 30 minutes guided by acupuncturist on topic of your health. It will be questions about your chief complain and duration. Then you will be asked about your general lifestyle, sleeping, emotional situation, dietary habits and physical exercises. Also you may be asked to show your tongue, have your pulse taken and have your abdomen pressed - it's physical part of consultation. At the end of consultation - you will be diagnosed according to Traditional Chinese Medicine and informed what kind of treatment and they amount recommended. Second part is Treatment. Ideally to wear loose clothes, to make accessible some body areas without undressing. Treatment will take around 30 minutes and during this time you can experiencing arrival or Qi (energy in Traditional Chinese Medicine). For treatment I am using great quality single use stainless steel acupuncture needles. These needles are much thinner than needles, which we used to see in labs or hospitals. Often people are surprised how little they feel both at insertion and after they are in place. In fact, it is not uncommon for clinics to be full of snoring patients! So be ready to relax and have a small nap during treatment. And third - I am using more than just needles.
