💗Summer Love💗

💕Summer is officially here! This is the time to use the energy we have been storing all year and have fun! In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the organ that corresponds with Summer is the Heart, and the element is Fire.

💕The emotions associated with Summer are Joy and Love, the colour is Red. Everything we do:

    ⁃    should come from a place of joy,

    ⁃    be done with happiness and laughter,

    ⁃    do not hold grudges during summer,

    ⁃    focus on healing emotional wounds.

💕It is the easiest season to adjust our behaviour:

    ⁃    wake early and can stay up late, having a nap mid-day,

    ⁃    get things done that we have been planning all Winter and Spring,

    ⁃    be active and exercise to keep the pores open and Qi flowing smoothly in the body,

    ⁃    incorporate raw/cold foods into the diet. Fresh fruits, veggies, salads, and smoothies are all okay right now

    ⁃    add bitter flavours to drain and clear excess heat

    ⁃    make sure to stay hydrated throughout the day. Add fresh mint, cucumber, and lemon to your water.

💕Summer is often the time of year we have all been waiting for. It is a more carefree time than all other seasons!

💕Change your habits as the seasons change, feel the summer vibe, stay healthy all year long and stay in harmony with nature. Come for your seasonal check-up and create more balance between your body and the external environment.
